Ian Butter (Hons) FRICS MRTPI has been advising the holiday and home parks industry for over 40 years 

He has advised on hundreds of holiday and home parks across Britain

 

He is a Full Member of the National Caravan Council 

and has been involved with the British Holiday and Home Parks Association since 1978

Instrumental in formulating and challenging caravan and tourism related policies in Local Plan during the 1990's, Ian is now doing the same again for emerging Local Development Framework and Neighbourhood Plans.

 

Trained at Fleury Manico (one of the foremost caravan specialists) and eventually becoming an Equity Director of HLL Humberts Leisure (now part of GVA), Ian is working independently for park operators throughout Britain. Offering Director level consultancy advice on town planning, site licencing and associated matters, Ian is able to offer very competitive rates, based on a regional charging framework that keep costs to a minimum.
